Week 28 – Foiled by a Spare Key

This week, we were walking a lot because our car key was broken. On Wednesday, we went on an exchange with the zone leader’s. A little bit of background: It’s a recurring pattern that zone leaders on the island gain a little weight, so while I was leading out in my area, I decided we plan the most exhausting day possible. But an hour after we started, a spare key was found to our car and we started driving again. so my plan was ruined. But it’s alright.

Week 27 – Coronavirus Ruins Transfers

We had transfer calls this week, and our district leader just said “no changes in the zone,” which was the most anticlimactic news I’ve ever heard. Apparently flight prices are really expensive because Pohnpei state is trying to restrict travel. So I’m in Sekere again, with Elder Zesiger. The only difference is our car is out of commission because our electronic key broke, so now we walk. It’s nice because we’re seeing a lot more of the area than we used to, but as you can expect, it’s really tiring.
